Given the launch of the Thunderbirds Are Go TV reboot series and our recent acquisition of the Thunderbirds board game has me in somewhat of a full celebration of the classic "supermarionation" TV series. There's a lot to be loved about the classic marionette-driven science fiction series.
And when looking at something with a legacy this rich and dating quite a whiles back, it's nice to be able to turn to the internet to find some pretty fun videos about this unique TV series.
This first video is a nice celebration of one of my favorite characters - none other than the ever classy Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward. And the way she and her butler/driver Parker deal with some unexpected guests is one of the great reminders of what the show was about.
This second video is an exerpt from a documentary that focuses primarily of Lady Penelope and Parker. Call me campy, but I really enjoyed this one.
To be a bit more traditional, here's a video that covers more about the Tracy family as a whole and their role of International Rescue in this version of Earth. Good job, boys!
This video is actually a full documentary about the series that I'm surprised is still alive and kicking on YouTube. It's an hour long but it's a great celebration of the show and something any fan would enjoy really digging into.
And that's all I wanted to share today. F.A.B. fellow Thunderbirds!
