Yesterday marked the third anniversary of Bill Gates saying that "spam will be a thing of the past in two years' time". Two years have been passed and so does the third year. So far, there's no signs that spam is packing up and to leave us, but showing an increasing trend.
In 2005, 30 billion spam were sent per day, and 85 billion per day in December 2006. [Wikipedia] Causing billions of dollars of lost.
I am sure that the world's most-spammed man, Bill Gates, is scratching his head to figure out a way to stop spam. Oh well, it would be more likely that his team will figure out how to stop AIDS.
