[Google] Recruiting Test Subjects

Both CNet News and the Googlified Blog and I'm sure many other such sources have already reported that Google is looking for people to help them test out new products and provide feedback.

From the looks of things, it's a pretty big market research initiative since they're willing to get in touch with people all around the world, although there's a plus if you live near the Googleplex or any of their global offices since some of their research requirements involve visiting them at their facilities, there are options for everyone regardless of your location, computer setup or even dedication to Google.

You can sign up as a research volunteer at https://services.google.com/inquiry/user_study, but remember there is no guarantee you'll get contacted to participate in any of their studies or surveys. If you want to learn more about the program, you can check out the FAQ. The site states that participants may be paid about $75 for the in-person research studies.

Google, you don't need to pay me! I'd just be happy to get to test out new Google products before anyone else gets to see them! That would be über coolness! Hahaha!

  1. I would really like to sign up, if Google can lower the age a little... :(

  2. hey, don't worry. i doubt this will be a limited thing that you won't be around to experience. Google has to protect themselves after all considering paying minors might be considered underaged labor or some crap like that.

how many more years do you have to go, out of curiosity?
