[Books] March 2020 Reads

 March Reads

Wow, I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but I totally lost track of these monthly reading reports for this blog. I guess the strange nature of our extended quarantine and all the stress that came with it got in the way.

So let's do a month-by-month catch up until we get this house in order.

For March, I read a total of 37 titles, 31 of which were comics, 2 were actual books and 4 were audiobooks. This is also the period where I decided to start reading the Mistborn books and those are pretty hefty titles that need more time to get through.

My comic book reading was largely defined around the Tenth Doctor comics released by Titan Comics, and for the most part, they're quite enjoyable. The team has a great feel for the characters and I could totally buy into these stories featuring in the show somehow.

March is also the month that I finally got over the sadness of the passing of Sir Terry Pratchett a few years back and finished reading his final Discworld novel, The Shepherd's Crown. It was a bittersweet experience since it was a solid story for Tiffany but it also felt not-quite-finished but still good enough. And of course the book also dealt with the subject of death and the importance of a legacy and all that good stuff.
