So the new Ghostbusters reboot movie finally has its first official trailer. I have't really felt all that for or against this movie since the news broke. I enjoyed the original movies back in the day but I can't say that I was ever a die-hard fan of the movie franchise or anything.
But now that it's actually here, well, I'll let you go watch it first.
It's not a bad trailer - if anything I think it does a good job of making folks excited for this movie. Is it going to be an amazing Ghostbusters movie? I don't know the answer to that question at this point, but it does seem like it has a lot of the elements for a quirky rehash of the original concept. Each the girls are pretty good comedians on their own, but of course a lot of it is starting to feel like a bunch of Saturday Night Live sketches tied together, buit maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. It's only the first trailer after all.
