[Entertainment] Kylie's Back!

Yes, you read that right, Kylie Minogue is back on the road to complete her Showgirl tour which was postponed back in May 2005 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Kylie, now 38, seems as lively as ever when her concert tour started last Friday in Australia. The tour will start here in her home country and will eventualy make its way to the U.K. and other nations.

Of course, it's not quite the show as before given her current medical conditions. While she may not be known for her acrobatic skills, she does has a reputation for many different costumes in one night and according to her, "...quick changes are really stressful." This is not to say the show is disappointing in any way - it appears she's out to prove that she still has what it takes to take center stage.

In a surprise move, U2 singer Bono joined Kylie onstage during her second night in Sydney to sing a duet of the song Kids, which Minogue performed along with Robbie Williams back in 2000. Fans of course loved the performance and Bono's presence certainly said a lot about the kind of love and support Kylie has from people around the world, whether fans or musical artists alike.

I have to admit that I'm glad she's out there once more. I know it seems campy and stereotypically queer, but I've always enjoyed Kylie's music. At times she's a lot more fun to listen to than Madonna who has in recent years developed a taste for the melodramatic, at least in my opinion. Now if only she'd bring her concert here...
