Recently Q the Conqueror announced that he was leaving the blogosphere, which was rather sad news to read indeed. Q has been a long time friend of the Geeky Guide and a part-time contributor to the blog and will certainly be missed.
Given that announcement, I took a long look at the Geeky Guide at this point and time and realized really that it's been mostly me in recent months. As much as I've appreciated the help, support and contributions of other bloggers I can also understand that everyone is pretty busy with their own lives or blogs.
Thus at this point in time the Guide is going back to being an individual blog and I've cleaned up all author permissions for those blogosphere friends who have been contributing their geekiness to my own. It's going to be a little lonely for a while but then who knows what the future may bring, right? At the very least, it'll help the blog remain focused on my redefinition efforts and we better determine where the Guide should go.
However this is not to say I'm not open to contributors - if you feel you have something too geeky for your own blogs or sites, then always feel free to start a dialog via an email, an IM or even just a comment and we'll see what we can do.
