[GeekyCast] About His Book Mania

I originally had another topic in mind - something nice and lofty and interesting. I was going to talk about my education and my thoughts on the subject (and perhaps the lack thereof). Instead, my little errand to Ortigas got totally side-tracked by a trip to Books for Less.

What do I end up with?

Two more backs of books to catalog, index and figure out where to place on my shelves. Oh joy. So for today's GeekyCast I ended up talking about my book mania. Wahaha!

It's a nice sickness to have.

  1. Remind me not to borrow your bathroom books. Hehe.

Since we're talking about books, let me share my favorites (or at least, the ones which come to mind right now):

    1. Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
    2. The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie
    3. Laughter In The Dark by Vladimir Nabokov (yeah, I'm a Nabokov fan)
    4. Special Topics in Calamity Physics by Marissha Pessl
    5. Notes On A Scandal by Zoe Heller

Also had my Chrichton phase, which I've now outgrown.

  2. Hey, the bathroom books are still in mint condition! =D

That's certainly an interesting mix of books - I wonder what inferences I'm supposed to draw based on your collection. I mean come on - Nabokov!

    Interesting.
