In 1999, The Iron Giant was released with minimum fanfare and only performed decently at the box office but disappointed the studio. And yet for little robot-loving geek kids like me, the movie was awe-inspiring, heartwarming and almost life-changing as being such a powerful story. Since then the movie has take on a bit of a cult following and some retrograde support from people who now understand how brilliant Brad Bird was even then.
With the 20th anniversary of the movie coming up and the Signature Edition of the film available on Blu-Ray on DVD, I guess it was timely enough for the folks at ChannelFrederator to run a 107 Facts video about our lovable robot friend.
